Kitchen Open Days for December

To better serve you during the 2014 festive season we will be opening to the public for immediate purchases twice a week.

Hours: 1pm – 5pm (unless sold out prior)

Wk 1: (2nd) Tuesday and (4th) Thursday
Wk 2: (9th) Tuesday and (11th) Thursday
Wk 3: (16th) Tuesday and (18th) Thursday
Wk 4: (23rd) Tuesday and (24th) Wednesday
Wk 5: (30th) Tuesday and (31st) Wednesday

If you require bulk purchases on any of these days, please let us know a few days before so that we can put it on the schedule. This will help us prepare enough stock for all our walk-in customers. We are currently trying to work on a Christmas menu in the little spare baking time that we have πŸ™‚ We’ll let you know once this is completed.

This is a late post to share some of the creations that kept me busy on my last day of work and a reminder that Caroline’s Kitchen is closed for two weeks and opening again on July 15 for your orders.

Thank you to all our customers (local and international) that purchased cakes, cupcakes and what not for their mother’s this past weekend. We do hope the mother’s enjoyed their treats and you scored extra brownie points with them πŸ™‚

With so many cakes and cupcakes being prepared, I didn’t have any time to take photos of the cakes, so if you managed to take happy snaps with the cake recipients or the cakes alone, I would love for you to share them with me (if you want to)Β  πŸ˜€Image

In record time, you once again cleared the stock in ways that were reminiscent of the 2013 Christmas rush. We could barely pack the boxes fast enough. Thank you for a great day and for accepting the delay. I’m sorry that some of you missed out.

Website, menu and price updates

Monday is my “no baking day” but there is still plenty of work to do outside the kitchen. I finally had some time to transition the rest of our everyday menu over to the website. After having the site for about 18months, the update was long overdue. Price changes have been kept to a minimum so all other .pdf menus are no longer current.

I’ll continue to make additions to the site such as location map, weekly forecast of availability, FAQ’s, tips and my vegetarian recipes…when time allows.

Thank you to our customers who have provided positive feedback about the website. Have a browse and let me know what you think – if you find that it’s easy to navigate. I’m still trying to find my way around the formats. I hope to utilize this site more to better service you πŸ™‚
